The ground rules.

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Maleek Studios is a technology studio based in Lagos, Nigeria. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Maleek Studios.

You are welcome to browse the site, read our articles and send us a message. Please do not:

• try to break, overload or get around the security of the site or the client portal
• use automated tools to copy large parts of the site, or to send us spam
• send us anything unlawful, abusive or that you do not have the right to share
• sign in with an account that is not yours

We can block access to anyone who does these things.

The site, its text, designs, logos and code are ours or used with permission. The games, websites and other projects shown here belong to their owners, which may be us or our clients. You may share a link to a page or quote a short passage with credit. For anything more, such as using our logo or images, please ask first.

Our articles and guides give general information. Prices and timings in them are examples to help you plan, and they are not quotes. They are not legal, financial or other professional advice, and you should check what applies to your situation.

Sending us a message does not create a contract. A quote is an offer that stays open for the period it states, and a project starts only when we have both agreed the scope, price and timing in writing. That agreement, and not this page, sets out what we will deliver, what you will pay and who owns the finished work.

The portal is for clients we are working with. Keep your login private and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. Files and information we share there are for you and your project, so please do not pass them on without checking with us. We may suspend access if the portal is misused or when a project ends. Invoices in the portal are payable as the invoice says.

Applying for a role does not create an employment relationship or promise an interview. Please send only accurate information, and only information you are happy for us to hold. How we handle it is explained in our privacy policy.

The site may link to other websites and show content from them, such as videos. We do not control them and are not responsible for what they say or do.

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we provide it as it is. It may sometimes be unavailable or contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that come from using the site or relying on what is on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited. Our responsibility for project work is set out in the agreement for that project.

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version, and using the site after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria can settle any dispute about them.
