About

Started in Lagos. Built for everywhere.

We make games, websites, automation and connected devices, and we're building Africa's first open-world action RPG along the way.

Our story

How we got here.

It started in Lagos in 2024, with freelance projects for clients who needed things built properly: websites that brought in customers, tools that saved their teams hours, and systems that didn't fall over the week after launch.

In 2025 a bigger idea took over. We wanted to make the kind of game we'd never seen: an open world set across real African cities, with a story about family and loyalty at its centre. That idea became Bloodline Wahala, and it changed how we think about everything we build.

By October 2026 the work had outgrown one person. Maleek Studios became a team of engineers and designers who take on client work and build our own games side by side. Most projects cross a few lines (a game that needs a website, a business that needs its tools connected), so we keep those skills under one roof.

What we believe

  • Build it properly.

Fast is good. Fast and broken isn't. We care about the parts nobody sees: clean code, solid infrastructure and things that keep working long after launch.

  • Tell our own stories.

Africa has stories games haven't told yet. Bloodline Wahala is our first, and it won't be the last.

  • Stay close to the people we work with.

You talk to the people building your project, not a layer in between. Clear updates, honest timelines and no surprises.

What we work with

Tools of the trade.

Unity and C# for the game. Next.js, React and Supabase for the web. Node.js for automation. Three.js when something needs to move. We pick what fits the job, not what is trending.
